DB2 LUW write suspend state is commonly checked during a splitting of mirrored database.I’d like the flexibility of checking via the db2pd monitoring tool, How can I get the output in db2pd to check if a DB2 database is in the write suspend state? I use grep for exploring data sets and awk for text processing on Linux. They are very powerful utilities which simplify extracting and processing text. Lock waits are a normal part query processing but when the lock waits start taking longer than normal , it’s a sign of trouble. Question: During a very high workload period on a DB2 LUW we are experiencing slower than expected archival logging . The archival logging method utilises a VENDOR library – which utilises deduplication.
