DBA – Become a better DB2 DBA

01 January,2012 by Tom Collins

2012 – a new year . I’m looking forward to it , on a professional and personal level.

I’m already booked out for a lot of DB2 DBA work in the upcoming months.  The projects require DB2 performance tuning and DB2 architecture consulting.

My goals for this year are:

1) Update my blogs – SQLServer-DBA.com  and DBA-DB2.com more frequently. You can find all the DBA-DB2.com blog posts from last year on - DBA DB2:Everything

2)  Complete the IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator. Due to time constraints, I’ve deferred this exam numerous times

3)   Spend a large proportion of my time on Database Architect and DB2 Performance Tuning
