DB2 - Uninstalling IBM Tivoli Monitoring for Databases

In large Tivoli environments – System Adminstrators prefer to manage the installation of    the Monitoring Agents

As a  DBA you may need to exclude the ITMA from the DB2 server installation. Methods are:

1)  To prevent the DB2 installer from installing ITMA in a response file installation, set INSTALL_ITMA to NO.

2)  To uninstall:

On Linux and UNIX operating systems:

You can uninstall ITMA for DB2 by issuing the following command:

DB2DIR/itma/bin/uninstall.sh REMOVE EVERYTHING

DB2DIR represents the location where the DB2 copy of ITMA is installed.
